Job summary

Stafforce Recruitment is seeking a Print Finisher in Huddersfield to operate finishing equipment (guillotines, coaters, folder/gluers, laminators) and ensure top quality output. You will monitor performance, carry out basic maintenance, and complete quality checks in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong attention to detail, good mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Flexibility with shifts is requested as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating finishing machinery such as guillotines, coaters, folder/gluers and laminators.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a busy environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts when required.

Print Finisher

Salary c£28,000 DoE

Location: Huddersfield

You will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed safe and efficient manner and to the high standards consistently delivered to customers.

• Setting, operating and running a range of finishing machinery, including guillotines, coaters, Folder/Gluers and laminators.


• Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production runs


• Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting


• Ensure accuracy of inserts, addressing, and finishing requirements


• Complete production paperwork and quality control checks


• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment


• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines

Requirements

• Previous experience operating finishing machinery such as guillotines, coaters, Folder/Gluers and laminators.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality


• Good mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills


• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment


• Flexible approach to shift work when required
