Overview

The Print Designer role supports the overall profit of the company by delivering first-class pattern design, selection, and production management that encapsulates the Boden brand. Understanding our key customer 'Kate' and how she wears our clothes is essential.

What You Will Do

• Design appropriately for our customer base, providing patterns for products that fulfill their requirements and excite them—pushing boundaries without crossing them.
• Explore innovative sources of inspiration and conduct research on seasonal colours and pattern trends suitable for Boden.
• Prepare range presentations on CAD, working closely with the design team to present the best patterned options for each style and story across all ranges.
• Develop and improve print methods with suppliers.
• Ensure the Boden brand values are reflected in all work areas—from design development to production.
• Develop a strong understanding and affinity with the Boden core customer.
• Continuously seek inspiration and trends, including participating in development/research/competitor shopping trips as needed.

What We Are Looking For

• A creative design passion with some experience in the womenswear sector.
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Ability to balance brand identity with business objectives while focusing on the consumer.
• Trend awareness and knowledge of contemporary brands.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and independently.
• Goal-oriented with experience working in a fast-paced environment and reacting quickly to changing needs and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Illustrator and/or Miro.
