SENIOR/PRINCIPAL CIVIL ENGINEER - NUCLEAR

Location: Bristol with some flexibility
Contract: 12 month initial contract

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to work on the design of nuclear power plants and our future project pipeline. You will apply your civil engineering expertise to ensure successful project delivery, collaborating with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Providing technical leadership and team management to deliver work packages effectively.
2. Coordinating and communicating complex engineering issues among project stakeholders.
3. Providing technical review and responding to site queries and requested changes in a dynamic environment to support contractor activities on HPC site.
4. Conducting and reviewing structural analyses using FEM packages (experience with Ansys is beneficial).
5. Providing technical oversight of reinforcement detailers, reviewing detailing models and drawings.
6. Offering expert oversight and technical direction for the design of reinforced concrete structures.
7. Developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
8. Supporting business development during tender processes.
