Job summary

ERSG Ltd in Leicester is seeking a Principal Civil Engineer / Associate to lead delivery of a diverse range of civil/highway projects across residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors.

You will manage projects from concept to detailed design, mentor junior engineers, liaise with clients and authorities, and contribute to bids and fee proposals while growing the civil engineering team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in civil/highway engineering design and project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of DMRB, Manual for Streets, LTN 1/20, NRSWA and highway/drainage adoption processes (S278, S38, S104).
• Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Causeway Flow and related design software.
• Strong commercial awareness, project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Chartered status (ICE, CIHT or CIWEM), or working towards chartership, is desirable.
