Job summary

Kainos seeks a Workday EDM Solution Architect (Principal) to drive the delivery and configuration of our Employee Document Management application for a global client base. You will lead workstreams, resolve complex functional challenges and serve as a senior liaison with clients.

You’ll contribute to business development, craft competitive estimates, and help shape capability growth in your area. You’ll mentor senior talent and share knowledge across teams and engagements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience at senior or director level on multiple large ERP/Workday implementations.
• Exceptional understanding of ERP, Corporate Services and Workday product areas.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS:

As a Workday EDM Solution Architect (Principal) in Kainos, you’ll be fully accountable for the quality of how we implement and configure our exciting Employee Document Management application for our global customer base, typically leading a workstream. You’ll use your expertise to engage directly on high profile projects, to handle any significant functional challenges, and will be an important senior liaison and escalation for our clients.

You’ll take part in business development activities, working with the sales team on opportunities within your area and will be jointly accountable for achieving sales targets, providing commercially competitive estimates and content to support the sales process.

You’ll be key to developing the capability in your area and/or your local region, in attracting, recruiting, developing and mentoring senior talent. As an expert in your capability or capabilities, you’ll share knowledge and direct thought leadership both internally and externally.

Minimum (essential) Requirements

• Significant experience of operating at a senior or director level in your capability or capabilities on multiple large ERP, Corporate Services and/or Workday implementations
• Exceptional understanding of ERP, Corporate Services and/or HCM Workday product, Financials, Payroll as well as your specialist Capability (Product Manager in the Workday ecosystem is ideal but not mandatory)
• Exceptional understanding of and experience in delivery methodologies and models specifically designed for software as a service
• Significant experience working in multiple ERP, Corporate Services and/or Workday capabilities
• Broad business and technology experience and a good awareness of industry trends
• Excellent leadership skills, including ability to delegate, motivate, lead, attract and develop staff
• Excellent customer management experience, working with senior executives in customer organisations with the ability to formally present to senior client and conference audiences
• Excellent skills in managing conflicting demands and performing effectively in complex and difficult situations, including negotiation, conflict resolution and relationship management{
