Job summary

SES Engineering Services is seeking an Electrical Principal Technical Manager to lead technical delivery and work winning for high profile MEP projects across sectors. Based in the UK with flexible working, you will provide strong leadership, governance and engineering excellence across pre and post contract activities.

You will coach design teams, drive technical accountability for electrical services, and support project managers and engineers to achieve robust outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for adherence to relevant business processes, undertaking Design Reviews, coaching of MEP Designers & management of technical actions.
• Attendance, contribution & collaboration regarding: -‘Making a Great Start' & Strategy PresentationsIPD Workshops.
• Technical accountability for the mechanical engineering services for the project.
• Accountability for technical assessment, coaching and development of Preconstruction Leaders, Design Project Managers & Project Managers & Engineers.

SES Engineering Services are looking for an Electrical Principal Technical Manager to join our SES South team focusing on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors.

What you'll be doing:

Our Principal Technical Managers are a valuable part of our business, and their role will encompass both work winning and the delivery of live projects whilst providing strong functional leadership, management, governance and excellence for all engineering activities pre and post contract, across either a single large project or portfolio of projects.

• Be accountable for adherence to relevant business processes, undertaking Design Reviews, coaching of MEP Designers & management of technical actions.
• Attendance, contribution & collaboration regarding: -‘Making a Great Start' & Strategy Presentations&IPD Workshops.
• Technical accountability for the mechanical engineering services for the project.

Given the nature of this position, you will be required to undergo a Basic/Standard/Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at offer stage
