Job summary

Partners Capital is seeking a Principal–level Technical Business Analyst to join the Transformation Office and lead complex investment-management projects. You will bridge business, product, and technology, delivering change with strong stakeholder engagement.

In this high-impact role, you will oversee multi-workstream delivery and collaborate with front, middle, and back-office teams, data and technology leads. A deep understanding of financial workflows and DB querying is essential.

Qualifications

• Approximately 7-10 years’ experience in a technology or software delivery environment.
• Experience in Alternatives (hedge funds, private equity, private debt, secondaries, co-investments).
• Hands-on delivery on projects involving eFront, Charles River, Burgiss Caissa (MSCI private markets), Thinkfolio, SimCorp, Addepar, etc.
• Large project experience through full SDLC with Agile software delivery.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and coordinate cross-location teams.
• Understanding relational databases and programming (SQL, Python, Java).
• Fluent Applied AI knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of one or more workstreams in a global transformation programme through the complete SDLC, including vendor management.
• Manage stakeholder expectations around progress, requirements, solution design, constraints, risks, and dependencies.
• Document process flows, business rules, and detailed requirements with business owners.
• Research and assess impact across teams, systems, and processes.
• Shape and contribute to innovative, practical solution designs and end-to-end vision.
• Define work breakdown structures and articulate build/test needs.
• Lead testing activities including test planning, scripting, execution, and defect triage.
• Drive change management and KPI/OKR post-implementation.
