Zusammenfassung

NP Aerospace is seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to provide technical leadership across Protected Mobility programmes. You will integrate systems engineering, vehicle technology and armour expertise to deliver robust solutions for demanding defence applications.

You’ll guide engineering teams, suppliers and customers through the full lifecycle, from concept to production, while shaping standards and ensuring technical excellence to achieve mission-focused outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Degree-qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Proven experience leading activities on engineering development programmes.
• Strong requirements development experience, including DOORS.
• Proven system design and analysis experience using a SysML tool.
• Experience across the full systems engineering lifecycle.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors through design, integration, test and acceptance.

Aufgaben

• Provide systems engineering leadership across Protected Mobility programmes and guide engineering teams, suppliers and customers.
• Analyse and flow down system requirements, develop specifications and architectures, and support design solutions.
• Assess technologies, identify viable options and help shape technical standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors through design, integration, test and acceptance and support design reviews.
• Lead across the complete lifecycle from concept to production and issue resolution.
• Contribute to innovation and development of the systems engineering capability.
