Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Systems Engineering experience.
• Experience of safety-critical development in DO-178/DO-254 or IEC61508.
• Experience in mechanical, pneumatic, or aerospace system development.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Visio, Excel, Word).
• Experience with configuration management tools.
• Leadership of multi-discipline project teams.
• Familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink.
• Knowledge of change control and problem reporting processes.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical/pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions for military aerospace industries using a systems engineering approach.
• Engage with customers to elicit stakeholder requirements.
• Translate customer requirements into realizable product requirements.
• Perform requirements-based verification and validation.
• Produce interface control documents and system design documents.
• Control and manage engineering changes through the lifecycle.
• Prepare technical proposals including estimations and presentations.
• Provide technical oversight and mentoring to other Systems Engineers.
