Job summary

Eaton Aerospace Group Mission Systems Division (MSD) Precision Control Systems (PCS) is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager at the Cheltenham, UK site to lead the Mechanical Design and Development team and support Critical Controls, Stores Ejection, and Data Processing value streams.

You will deliver projects, manage budgets, drive risk reduction, and mentor engineers while coordinating with program management and in-service support teams to ensure on-time, within-budget outcomes across NPI,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution is required.
• 10 years of experience within aerospace or a high-tech industry with new product development and sustaining support.
• Advanced engineering degree or MBA preferred.
• CEng certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Mechanical Design and Development team and support Critical Controls, Stores Ejection, and Data Processing value streams.
• Deliver projects and manage budgets and deadlines within defined cost and schedule.
• Identify risks and de-risk with actionable plans for the project team.
• Lead, motivate and develop an engineering team to meet budget and strategic plan objectives.
• Maintain liaison with customers for reviews and major modifications of products.
