Job summary
Addition is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to lead cross-functional systems engineering across full project lifecycles in a highly regulated defence environment. Qualifications
- Experience in systems engineering within a highly regulated defence/aerospace environment.
- Knowledge of requirements management, systems integration and verification.
- Experience with DOORS and Enterprise Architect (MBSE tools).
- Understanding of PLC/SCADA or operational technology is advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead systems engineering activities from requirements through to integration and acceptance.
- Produce and review technical documentation and support design reviews.
- Work closely with software, hardware, safety and cyber teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Manage technical input from suppliers and support risk, bid and estimation activities.
- Provide technical leadership across engineering work packages.
