The role
As a Principal Systems Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Working within our Mission Systems business, this high-level role will have you apply system thinking, operational analysis, systems of systems, systems architecture and requirements to support a holistic approach for delivering new technologies across Uncrewed Systems, Autonomy, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Cyber Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA).
Day-to-day, you’ll take a holistic approach to new projects, producing all the systems engineering for projects from concept to in-service stages. You will lead research and development activities to identify solutions to support growth within Autonomous Systems within our Mission Systems business.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is adaptable and can be delivered from various locations including Bath (Hawthorn, Corsham), Oakhanger (Bordon), Ashchurch (Tewkesbury), Plymouth, or Bristol sites alongside home working arrangements.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
