Job summary

Avon and Somerset Constabulary in Portishead is seeking a Principal Surveyor to lead diverse surveying projects from inception to completion. You will ensure compliance with legislation and best practices while guiding internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

A relevant degree in surveying or related field.
Chartered status with a recognised body (e.g., RICS).
Extensive surveying experience, ideally in public services.
Strong knowledge of surveying practices, legislation and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven leadership and project management experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage surveying projects from inception to completion.
