Job summary

Code Resources LTD in Manchester is seeking a Principal Structural Revit Technician to lead and co-ordinate BIM-based structural modelling projects. The role involves ensuring adherence to BIM protocols, preparing detailed Revit and AutoCAD drawings, and collaborating with engineers, architects, and third parties to deliver accurate production deliverables.

Qualifications

• Take a project lead role in compliance with BIM protocols.
• Prepare drawings using AutoCAD or Revit models and resultant production drawings, schedules, etc.
• Work with other engineering technicians and engineers within the team to develop models and produce general arrangement drawings, sections and details for structures designed by the group.
• Liaise with architects, building services engineers and other professionals both within the comapny and 3rd parties to ensure that models, drawings, details, schedules, etc are developed correctly and in accordance with the design programme for deliverables.
• Take responsibility for checking own work and work produced by others, including external consultants, sub-consultants and contractors, embracing drawings and associated production deliverables.

We are recruiting a principal structural revit technician on behalf of our client a well established multi disciplinary consultancy to play a leading role on projects ranging from multi million pound complex schemes to smaller more lacal client focusssed tasks acorss a diverse mix of sectors including Industrial, Commercial, Residential, Manufacturing and Defence.

About You and the role

• Take a project lead role in compliance with BIM protocols. Review and agree BEP’s and ensure the wider team are working to required standards.
• Prepare drawings using AutoCAD or Revit models and resultant production drawings, schedules, etc
• Work with other engineering technicians and engineers within the team to develop models and produce general arrangement drawings, sections and details for structures designed by the group
