Principal Structural Engineer
Location: Basingstoke or Southampton
Salary: £55k-£62k

We are seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to join our building structures team within a major multidisciplinary practice, based in either Basingstoke or Southampton. Our team works on some of the world's most complex projects and is a trusted partner in the construction industry. Our projects span various sectors including education, defence, transport and infrastructure, historic renovations, change of use, and new builds.
Your responsibilities will include project management, hands-on design, mentoring junior staff, and engaging with clients to ensure smooth project delivery. Candidates should have a strong background in building structure design, be articulate, technically proficient, and hold Chartered status with MICE or MIStructE. Knowledge of Tekla Structural Designer, LUSAS, or similar software is advantageous.
