Job summary
Ticketmaster Data Apps is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead architectural direction across three teams, designing scalable, high-availability data systems and AI-enabled features. The role emphasizes strategic tech decisions, on-call readiness, and long-term maintainability within a globally distributed system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years building high-traffic web applications and production deployments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and live-app support.
- Strong debugging, monitoring and metrics skills (Grafana, CloudWatch).
Responsibilities
- Design and develop large-scale data-driven systems and services.
- Define architectural direction across multiple teams and ensure reuse.
- Improve infrastructure, implement CI/CD pipelines and monitoring.
- Mentor engineers, review code for quality, and drive best practices.
- Collaborate with product teams to align with enterprise goals.
