Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking a Chartered Structural Engineer to assume a Principal role, delivering technical leadership across large, highly regulated projects. The successful candidate will own structural delivery from concept to completion, lead multidisciplinary teams and influence project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer status via IStructE or ICE with extensive experience leading design teams.
• Strong working knowledge of UK structural design codes, standards and assurance processes.
• Broad technical capability across building structures and substructures, with experience in complex or regulated sectors.
• High proficiency using structural analysis software and ability to review/challenge analytical models.
• Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance, CSCS card, right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of structural design across large projects or multiple workstreams while maintaining quality, safety and programme.
• Mentor and develop teams of engineers, technicians and graduates, ensuring appropriate resourcing and technical support.
• Review and approve structural outputs including calculations, drawings, reports, specifications and digital models as the recognised technical authority.
• Control budgets, programmes and change management while contributing to bids, fee proposals and technical scopes of work.
• Promote safe design, buildable solutions, sustainability and continuous improvement while reporting progress to senior leadership.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

You will have the following qualifications and experience

• Chartered Engineer status via IStructE or ICE, with extensive experience leading structural design teams

• Broad technical capability across building structures, substructures, materials and structural assessment, with experience in complex or regulated sectors
• High proficiency using structural analysis software, with the ability to review and challenge complex analytical models
• Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance, a valid CSCS card, full right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence
