About Us: Nephos Technologies is a fast growing data services company, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and services to our clients. We are committed to service excellence and are looking for a talented Principal Sales Consultant to join our dynamic Go To Market team.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Sales Consultant where your expertise will shape our FTSE 250 clients’ Data Management programmes. You will demonstrate your experience in supporting them through business case development through to strategy execution using your expertise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to drive differentiated data governance approaches across our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with new clients to understand their Data Management requirements
  • Develop, advise and propose strategic Data Management Services for new and existing clients
  • Ensure clients’ data management programmes align with their business objectives
  • Guide clients on a practical journey of delivering their strategic Data programmes
  • Support clients’ in developing business cases to justify the required investments in Data Governance / data services
  • Lead client engagements and bids within clients through collaboration with cross functional internal teams
  • Stay up to date with assigned industry trends, technology and regulatory requirements related to data governance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data governance, data management or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years in a commercially led sales consulting role
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, best practices and trends
  • Experience with data quality management, metadata management, and data linage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Varonis or Big ID Platforms
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMC, DCAM, DAMA, IAPP) are a plus
