Job summary

MBDA is seeking a Principal Quality Assurance Engineer to support MBDA products in service with a mix of on-site and remote work within the UK. The role involves engaging with various MBDA functions and a customer-facing environment with a dynamic Product Support Team.

The position includes duties such as managing non-conformances, analyzing data, and coordinating cross-functional investigations with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to drive corrective actions and process

Qualifications

• Experience with quality management systems and processes.
• Practical knowledge of non-conformance management and SAP.
• Minimum HNC/HND level qualification in Engineering or Quality Assurance.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to liaise with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage product non-conformance and facilitate non-conformance processes.
• Provide non-conformance data analysis and summary reports.
• Support design and manufacturing defect investigations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Production and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Review, develop, implement and maintain Project Quality planning documentation.
• Ensure compliance to Business Management System procedures.
• Identify and mitigate quality risks to reduce rework and increase customer satisfaction.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
• Interact with supply chain on non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Facilitate continuous improvement in the Quality Assurance team and CSS sector.
