Job description

Role summary:

• Effective and dynamic management and control of all planning activities
• Providing support to project teams throughout project execution
• Responsible for strategic planning activities to ensure timely delivery and execution of all relevant projects across the business
• Works to avoid disruptions in project execution by supporting the management of capacity constraints across the backlog and forecast demand
• Responsible for the team serving organisation of 160+ staff and associates
• Defines planning and scheduling objectives and KPIs for planners
• Ensures the implementation and improvement of company standards and procedures
• Contributes towards, maintains, and implements corporate Management System objectives and procedures
• Supervised assigned areas of project scheduling
• Responsible for the development, alignment, and standardisation of the planning function within the Mission Delivery team
• Meets performance goals for the team in line with the capability/business strategy
• Works with management to implement and support policies, procedures, and best practices for project planning in support of successful project execution
• Prepares and consolidates reports including milestones, schedule analyses, project controls, and resource planning as required
• Supports bid processes and negotiation of contractual documentation as required

Formal qualifications or training:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Relevant experience in Planning, Project Scheduling, Project Planning, Operations
• Relevant experience in the Nuclear industry
• Primavera scheduling experience required
