Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is assisting a defence sector client in Barrow-in-Furness with a 12-month contract for a Principal Product Security Engineer. The role is delivery-focused, requiring senior security leadership across IA and the PMS domain.

You will define security artefacts, lead risk management, and tailor security cases to programme milestones while collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers in a highly regulated, multi-disciplinary engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Information Assurance and Product Security within complex engineered systems.
• Experience delivering security cases and managing information risk.
• Experience engaging with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define, agree and deliver Product Security activities in line with programme plans.
• Lead development of PMS Security Cases across defined programme phases.
• Maintain alignment with risk registers and support design assurance activities.
• Coordinate IA technical queries and secure communications.
• Plan and report progress, risks and milestones to governance.
