Job summary

Kainos is seeking a Principal Product Manager (Public Sector) to lead engagements from concept through delivery, shaping product strategies and business cases in a user‑centred context.

You will manage, coach and develop a small team of senior staff, focusing on performance, and drive Agile transformation across client programmes. Strong stakeholder engagement and commercial awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive vertical knowledge of Product Management with UX, Agile and Programme Assurance.
• Experience in at least two major business verticals including Public Sector.
• Experience in at least two business application environments (e.g., CRM, eCommerce).
• Experience of strong C-Level stakeholder communication and mentoring clients to raise PM awareness.
• Broad business and technology understanding and awareness of industry trends.
• Demonstrable experience delivering as part of an agile team.
• Experience of line management or coaching.
• Excellent communicator able to explain, persuade and justify decisions.
