Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on FAT and site issues.
• Communicate technical information to customers and suppliers.
• Lead design reviews to ensure compliance with best practices.
• Assist in transferring designs to manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with quality controls during the design process.
• Support execution of design quality gates and controls.
• Analyze quality data for corrective action.
• Implement lessons learned in future designs.

Skills

Deep technical knowledge in power transformer electrical and mechanical design

Extensive power transformer manufacturing knowledge and experience

Significant and demonstrated years of experience working within HVDC projects (preferred)

Demonstrated experience in FEA analysis

Extensive continuous improvement and quality process knowledge and experience

Solid knowledge and experience on site and FAT issues, RCA, DFMEA, testing

Focus on quality excellence and early risk identification and mitigation

Exceptional communication and influencing skills

Creative and innovative mindset

Excellent attention to detail

Pro-active and problem-solving attitude
