Job summary

Evolito Limited is seeking a Principal Technical Specialist - Power Electronics in the UK to lead the development of high-performance power electronic systems for all-electric and hybrid-electric aircraft. You will shape architectures, drive design reviews, and ensure engineering excellence across teams and suppliers.

We expect a strong track record in power electronics, high voltage systems, and safety-compliant design.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Proven experience in power electronics for aerospace.
• Experience with high voltage/high energy systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of power electronic systems from specification to design review.
• Contribute to technology roadmap for power electronics and inverter design.
• Develop guidelines for derating, EMC/EMI and PCB layout.
• Design and validate high-power inverters for aerospace environments.
• Support qualification testing and test documentation at multiple levels.
• Contribute to ARP4754A/DO-254 safety case and modelling activities.
• Mentor the Power Electronics Team and collaborate with Supply Chain.
• Engage with universities for research linkage and MSc/PhD projects.
