Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design across a diverse portfolio of water and wastewater projects. The role is based in Newcastle or Leeds and invites experienced engineers to advance technical leadership within a leading multidisciplinary consultancy.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
CEng status or aiming for registration desired.
Strong experience in mechanical design within water sector.

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical design across water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Produce and review technical calculations, specifications and design documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, Project Managers and clients to deliver outcomes.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developing engineers.
Support design reviews, value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
