Job title: Principal Marine Engineer – Platform Systems
Location: Portsmouth – Onsite only
Salary: Circa £52,000-£56,500 (dependent on skills and experience)

The Warship Technical Authority team:
Under the UK MoD Common Support Model (CSM), complex Warship Design Authority is comprised of the DE&S Warship Approving Authority (WAA) and the BAES Warship Technical Authority (WTA). This exciting role forms part of the T45 WTA and provides governance and oversight of Engineering decisions that primarily affect the T45 platform. In certain situations, this may extend to wider WTA supported platforms as the business requirements develop
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the design intent and safety of the T45 platform and to collate the assurance evidence of this for the corresponding WAA while working under the definitive engineering authority of the T45 WTA Class Lead Engineer (CLE)
