Kings Heath Primary Academy in Northampton is seeking an exceptional Principal to lead the next stage of its academic trajectory, with a start in April or September 2027. This role offers collaboration with the David Ross Education Trust to drive high-quality education for every pupil.

The successful candidate will lead with ambition, integrity and a commitment to inclusion, shaping teaching, curriculum and school improvement across the Trust network.

• Proven track record of improving outcomes for children.
• Strong strategic and operational leadership.
• Commitment to inclusion and ensuring every child can succeed.
• Ability to build positive cultures where staff and pupils flourish.
• Deep understanding of curriculum, teaching and assessment.
• Understands professional development and developing others to achieve excellence.
• Excited by contributing to Trust-wide improvement and system leadership.
• Experience as Headteacher or Principal seeking a new challenge within a Trust network.

• Lead the academy with clarity, ambition and integrity.
• Secure excellent outcomes and experiences for every pupil.
• Champion exceptional teaching, curriculum and inclusion.
• Create a culture where staff are supported, challenged and developed.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, families and the wider community.
• Work with Trust leaders and fellow Principals to contribute to school improvement across DRET.
• Have the opportunity to develop a specialist area of expertise and influence practice across the wider Trust.
