We are seeking a Principal Installation Engineer to be part of our client's 'Installation and Project Engineering' discipline on a Staff basis. The role involves representing the discipline on tenders and projects, maintaining discipline expertise, and developing new capabilities. Responsibilities include leading the installation of subsea structures, mooring systems, risers, flexible flowlines, and/or umbilicals, preparing scopes, supporting offshore crews, and managing interfaces with clients, suppliers, and design teams.

Main Responsibilities

1. Lead installation work packages on tenders, FEED, or projects.
2. Deliver scopes within budget, quality, and timeframes.
3. Manage scope changes (technical and commercial).
4. Lead and develop engineering teams.
5. Serve as technical point of contact for installation topics.
6. Manage interfaces with stakeholders.
7. Ensure high-quality documentation and studies.
8. Lead engineering activities for installation of products.
9. Develop procedures and calculation notes.
10. Support vessel mobilization and installation phases.
11. Ensure activities comply with project standards regarding quality, cost, and time.
12. Possibly act as Technical Owner for specific products or services.
13. Validate concepts and manage changes considering HSEQ criteria.
14. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to discipline development.
15. Promote innovative, cost-effective solutions.

Working Conditions

• Primarily based at Sutton office (not remote).
• International travel required.
• Occasional offshore/off-site support during project execution.

Candidate Requirements

• Master of Engineering degree and relevant energy sector experience.
• Extensive offshore/subsea installation experience.
• Expertise in at least two of the following: subsea structures, hook-ups/pull-ins, riser systems, flowlines, umbilicals.
• Experience in deep/ultradeep water construction.
• Experience with tenders and projects, project management, and operational documentation.
• Strong offshore operational experience.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and lead teams.
• Fluent in English.
