Job summary

AJ Bell Management Limited is seeking a Principal Information Security Engineer to provide technical leadership in their security engineering department. This role will act as the primary point of technical escalation and ensure project engagements are delivered to high standards.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day execution of security engineering tasks, and support the technical delivery of security tools, ensuring alignment with the security strategy. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant Information Security role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in an Information Security role, preferably in financial services or e-commerce.
• Strong knowledge of core IT and networking concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Information Security frameworks like ISO27001.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical escalation point for the security engineering team.
• Oversee execution of security engineering tasks and ensure quality.
• Support technical delivery of security tools and validate design concepts.
