Job summary

Safran is seeking a Senior Industrialisation Engineer to drive NPI and manufacturing transformation across programmes and lines. You will shape manufacturability and cost through DFMA, DtC, and new technologies, leading cross-functional teams in Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain.

You'll influence product development decisions, manage industrialisation roadmaps and capital investments, and coach teams to deliver robust manufacturing standards and continuous improvement across complex

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading industrialisation, manufacturing engineering or production engineering activities within a complex engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record delivering successful NPI programmes and introducing new manufacturing technologies or processes.
• Strong understanding of DfM, APQP, PFMEA, SPC and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering results in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Defining and delivering industrialisation strategies across products, programmes and manufacturing lines.
• Leading complex new product introductions (NPI), technology implementation projects and manufacturing transformation initiatives.
• Developing manufacturing standards, methods, governance frameworks and best practices.
• Driving Design for Manufacture (DfM), Design to Cost (DtC) and process optimisation activities.
• Influencing product and process development decisions to improve manufacturability, quality and cost performance.
• Leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Programmes and Supply Chain.
• Evaluating and introducing new manufacturing technologies, automation and Industry 4.0 solutions.
• Managing industrialisation roadmaps, capital investment plans and long-term capability development.
• Providing technical leadership, coaching and mentoring across engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Supporting supplier development and strategic make/buy decisions.
