Job summary

Viatris is seeking a Principal Human Factors Engineer, Device User Interface to lead HF activities across the device development lifecycle. You will translate user needs and use-related risks into robust design inputs, supporting clinical protocols, labeling, and regulatory submissions.

The role requires a degree in Human Factors/Medical Device design or psychology, experience in the pharmaceutical/medical device field, and a proven HF program track record.

Qualifications

• Experience in Human Factors Engineering for the Pharmaceutical/Medical Device industry.
• Proven track record in Human Factors program execution.
• Knowledge of drug delivery technologies and relevant standards (AAMI/ANSI HE75, ISO 62366, ISO 14971, ISO 13485).

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end Human Factors activities across the device development lifecycle.
• Develop and manage product-specific human factors programs and validation studies.
• Collaborate with clinical, regulatory and labeling teams to align on use-related risks and labelling.
• Design Instructions for Use meeting regulatory requirements and design inputs.
