Job summary

Kier is seeking a Principal Highways and Drainage Engineer to join our team across multiple UK locations. The role offers agile working with up to 1-2 days per week from home.

You will lead complex projects, manage scope, programme and budgets, and provide expert design and technical support across temporary works and construction challenges. Strong candidates will be Chartered (CEng) or equivalent, with a solid background in highways and drainage engineering and experience in temporary works

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent experience.
• Strong grounding in highways and drainage engineering principles.
• Knowledge of applicable design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a broad range of complex construction engineering services, including highways and drainage temporary works design and checking.
• Review calculations, sketches, drawings, 3D models, reports and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with preconstruction and construction teams from bid through delivery.
