Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Principal Estimator to lead the preparation of capital cost estimates for energy, chemicals, and energy transition projects. You will work with project teams and senior leadership to ensure robust, auditable estimates across the project lifecycle, including studies through EPC execution.

The role requires extensive experience in onshore and offshore projects, strong leadership, and the ability to benchmark and validate costs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in energy, chemicals, offshore/onshore sectors.
• Strong estimating methodologies and cost strategy knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership capability with experience guiding estimating teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and delivery of all classes of capital cost estimates.
• Define estimating scope, methodologies, and deliverables for projects.
• Develop fully auditable, risk-assessed estimates aligned with procedures.
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
