KBR is seeking an experienced Principal Estimator to lead capital cost estimates across energy, chemicals and energy transition sectors. You will work with project teams and senior leadership to deliver robust, auditable estimates from early studies through EPC execution.

The role requires strong leadership, global labour rate benchmarking, and collaboration with engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure procedures and risk analyses are embedded in every estimate.

Qualifications

• Extensive estimating experience in energy, chemicals, offshore and onshore sectors.
• Experience delivering estimates for studies, FEED and EPC projects.
• Ability to lead, mentor and manage estimating teams.
• Proven ability to present estimates to clients and senior management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software, including ACCE.

Responsabilités

• Lead the preparation and delivery of all classes of capital cost estimates.
• Define estimating scope, methodologies, work plans and deliverables.
• Develop auditable, risk-adjusted estimates aligned with procedures.
• Establish key estimate assumptions including equipment, materials, and escalation.
• Source labour rates and productivity factors for global projects.
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, procurement and construction teams.
