Government Recruitment Service in Cardiff is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to lead the development and governance of enterprise architecture, aligning technology with strategy, digital transformation and secure-by-design principles.

You will work with data, security and delivery teams across the organisation, driving architecture roadmaps, cloud strategy and lifecycle processes, with flexible working options and a commitment to development.

Formación

• Own and maintain the enterprise-wide architecture design framework across business, application, data and technology domains
• Translate organisational strategy into technology and architecture roadmaps
• Oversee cloud and platform architecture
• Define architecture lifecycle processes from concept through design, implementation and retirement, and provide independent design assurance for complex programmes and digital services
• Provide architectural leadership across multidisciplinary teams and support senior leaders with technology strategy discussions and decision‑making.

Responsabilidades

• Own and maintain the enterprise-wide architecture design framework across business, application, data and technology domains
• Maintain architecture standards and design principles, ensuring solutions comply with TOGAF and align with the UK government’s Technology Code of Practice
• Operate architecture governance processes, including design review boards and enterprise assurance
• Translate organisational strategy into technology and architecture roadmaps
• Oversee cloud and platform architecture
• Define architecture lifecycle processes from concept through design, implementation and retirement, and provide independent design assurance for complex programmes and digital services
• Provide architectural leadership across multidisciplinary teams and support senior leaders with technology strategy discussions and decision-making.
