Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to work closely with stakeholders, business teams, and subject matter experts. Your role will involve planning technology systems and solutions aligned with L&G’s business strategy, creating roadmaps, and driving initiative mobilization. You will also govern IT solutions to ensure they meet the Enterprise Architecture vision and adhere to standards.

What you'll be doing:

• Developing and communicating the Enterprise Architecture and business technology roadmaps, aligning IT with business strategy.
• Leading governance of solution architecture, ensuring compliance with roadmaps, policies, and standards through reviews and design authorities.
• Guiding and supporting a team of enterprise architects, addressing capability gaps, and ensuring delivery.
• Providing technology consultancy and executive support using enterprise architecture assets.
• Developing and communicating the IT Strategy for Institutional Retirement, including architectural design principles.
• Sharing best practices across L&G.
• Analyzing industry and market trends to assess their impact on enterprise architecture and strategy.

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture and IT roadmap design.
• Experience with IT industry standards and governance.
• Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, and analytics.
• Experience in IT Strategy and Governance formulation, including standards, procedures, and policies.
• Proficiency in architecture governance using enterprise architecture artifacts.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Track record of designing multimillion-pound IT roadmaps.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders as a thought leader.
