Kier Group plc. is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the Kier Design team, delivering engineering excellence across diverse construction projects. You will oversee temporary works design, bid support, and value engineering, while mentoring colleagues and driving technical standards.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage complex projects from concept through delivery, and contribute to Kier's reputation for innovative engineering solutions and industry leadership.

Qualifications

• Chartered engineer with leadership experience on complex construction projects.
• Proven ability to lead temporary works design and value engineering.
• Experience in design management and mentoring teams.
• Strong client relationship building across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and consultancy services including temporary works design, bid support, and value engineering.
• Manage projects from remit development through to completion while ensuring technical compliance and client satisfaction.
• Oversee work of engineers and technical staff, contribute to design deliverables and quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to colleagues.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders, represent Kier at meetings and support business development.
