Qualifications

• Hands-on Java expertise in LeSS/SAFe environments.
• Deep knowledge of ISO 20022 camt.052/053/054.
• Familiarity with SWIFT MT 940/942/950 and BAI2 reporting standards.
• Experience owning statement production and reconciliation platforms.
• Strong Kafka and event-driven architecture experience.
• Experience designing webhook and asynchronous client delivery solutions.
• Evidence of defining technical reporting strategy and standards.
• Nice-to-haves: Experience generating PDF, spreadsheet and client-facing report outputs.
• Nice-to-haves: Audit, regulatory or risk-management experience.
• Nice-to-haves: Experience building traceable data lineage and reporting transparency.
• Nice-to-haves: Exposure to multiple reporting delivery channels including API and file.
• Nice-to-haves: Knowledge of market-specific reporting and reconciliation practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and expertise to engineering teams to ensure alignment with best practices and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Contribute to strategic planning by aligning technical decisions with business goals, anticipating future technology trends, and providing insights to optimize product roadmaps.
• Design and implementation of complex, scalable, and maintainable software solutions, considering long-term viability and business objectives.
• Mentoring and coaching to junior and mid-level engineers to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing, elevating the overall skillset and capabilities of the organization.
• Collaboration with business partners, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure a cohesive approach to product development.
• Innovation within the organization by identifying and incorporating new technologies, methodologies, and industry practices into the engineering process.
