Starbucks EMEA is seeking a Principal Engineer to shape technical direction across Europe, Middle East and Africa, aligning with global technology strategy and the Starbucks Digital Solutions vision for International markets.

You will partner with product, delivery, security and infrastructure teams to drive scalable, secure and resilient engineering outcomes while mentoring teams and influencing executives.

Qualifications

Significant experience in software engineering and technical leadership within complex enterprise environments.
Proven track record influencing technical strategy across multiple teams, products or domains.
Experience leading technology transformation and platform modernization initiatives.
Experience operating in highly matrixed, global organisations.

Responsibilities

Set and influence the technical direction for EMEA technology capabilities in line with the global strategy.
Lead architecture reviews and guidance on solution design and implementation.
Promote engineering best practices in testing, observability, security and reliability.
Partner with product, delivery, security, infra and vendor teams to drive scalable, secure engineering outcomes.
