Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Principal Electronics Engineer (DSP) in Macclesfield, working 4 days on-site with Friday WFH. The role offers £55,000-£65,000 plus bonus, 8% employer pension contribution and flexible working.

You will lead hardware and firmware development across analogue and digital electronics, specialising in DSP and embedded C, in a highly technical engineering team.

Qualifications

• Strong hardware design experience across analogue and digital circuits.
• Embedded C programming expertise with DSP techniques.
• Experience with ARM microcontrollers (STM32) and FreeRTOS.
• Knowledge of optoelectronics or HDI PCB techniques is advantageous.

Are you a Senior/Principal Electronics Engineer with a strong background in hardware and firmware development, looking to join a specialist engineering business where you can play a key role in the design of cutting‑edge technology?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly technical engineering team, taking ownership of the design and development of new electronic hardware and embedded firmware solutions while supporting and enhancing existing product lines.

Working on advanced sensing and signal processing technologies, you will be involved throughout the full product development lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing, validation and ongoing maintenance. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working across both analogue and digital electronics.

The successful candidate will possess strong hardware design expertise, embedded C programming skills and extensive experience with digital signal processing techniques (DSP). Any experience with optoelectronics, ARM microcontrollers, FreeRTOS or advanced PCB layout techniques would be highly advantageous.
