A leader in the design and manufacture of advanced optical and radar systems for defence, security, and aerospace applications is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Electronics Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Key Accountabilities - Principal Electronics Engineer
  1. Provide expertise in circuit design, components, and PCB technology. Work in areas such as EMC, Power Management, Servo Control, processor interfacing, and communications.
  2. Offer expertise in power and signal transmission over wired mediums. Define and review overall architecture objectively.
  3. Play a key role within projects. Set standards for good engineering practice.
  4. Review and analyze departmental processes and practices. Drive innovation across the team.
  5. Communicate regularly with senior management, customers, and stakeholders. Focus on tactical and strategic project, technology, and team development.
  6. Lead in developing or enhancing technology. Provide subject matter expertise and apply it to R&D activities or projects.
Skills and Knowledge Required - Principal Electronics Engineer
  1. Strong degree in a related discipline accredited by the IET. Typically, 6 years of relevant experience.
  2. Proven experience in leading or supervising projects or teams.
  3. Solid theoretical and practical understanding of electrical and electronics designs.
