Job summary

ECM Selection (Holdings) Limited in Cambridge seeks a principal engineer to lead a talented electronics team, overseeing system architecture, prototyping, testing and transfer to manufacture for HealthTech devices from concept to production.

You will apply C/C++ embedded software skills, maintain a hands-on hardware approach, and diagnose faults with lab equipment. A first or 2:1 engineering degree and UK eligibility are required; postgraduate study is welcome.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, prototyping and testing electronic circuits and systems.
• Experience writing embedded software in C/C++.
• Hands-on hardware approach with debugging and fault finding using lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers across the development lifecycle.
• Own system architecture from concept through validation and production transfer.
• Ensure products meet business and regulatory requirements.
