Job Description

Are you ready to shape the future of water infrastructure? We’re looking for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Water Solutions team in Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, or Plymouth. You’ll be involved in delivering major capital programmes for South West Water and Wessex Water, covering water and wastewater projects across various scales, extending through AMP8 and AMP9 frameworks.

Your role will include:

• Design and review of electrical and ICA elements in water infrastructure projects
• Producing and reviewing client deliverables, making technical decisions
• Managing project packages and assessing design resources
• Preparing technical specifications
• Collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure stakeholder buy-in
• Mentoring junior staff and overseeing work

Qualifications

To succeed, you should have:

• Proven experience managing large-scale water engineering projects
