Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for creating sustainable solutions? Join Stantec and help us tackle the urgent climate, environmental, and efficiency challenges facing our communities.
This is an expression of interest ahead of AMP 8. We are open to speaking with potential Principal Electrical Engineers to join our team in the South West and Midlands.
This role can be based out of our offices in Exeter, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham, Derby, or Redditch, where you will grow our reputation within the local community and Water Business, by providing EICA design services for a range of projects.
As an experienced EICA Engineer, you will work in multidisciplinary teams, liaise with Project Managers, Design Managers, Design Engineers, clients, supply chain partners, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. You will be involved in projects from concept design to detailed design, feasibility studies, site surveys, and investigations.

About You
You will be an experienced Electrical Engineer with a Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related subject. Ideally, you are Chartered or Incorporated with several years of experience and a background in EICA engineering design.
You should have experience in writing technical specifications, control philosophies, EICA schedules and drawings, reports, and developing design solutions.
You will be able to produce Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, Network Infrastructure Diagrams, and provide engineering input for multidisciplinary outputs like General Arrangement Drawings, 3D models, and P&ID diagrams.
Understanding of DSEAR requirements regarding EICA design and installation is advantageous.
Strong communication skills, ability to deliver technical presentations, and participate in collaborative design discussions, workshops, HAZOPs, and ALMs are essential.
Experience in the Water sector is preferred, but experience in energy, infrastructure, and environmental sectors is also relevant.
You will act as a leader and mentor to junior engineers.
