Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, seeks a Principal Ecologist to lead ecological delivery on major infrastructure projects. You will guide ecological strategies, assess environmental risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant and sustainable outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in ecology or environmental science and extensive leadership experience in large construction programs, with strong capability in BNG measurement and delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or related field.
• Extensive experience leading ecology on major construction or civil engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of BNG measurement and delivery.
