Job summary

NUVIA is seeking an EC&I Engineer for its Plymouth-based team. The role supports the Design Manager in delivering EC&I scope with hybrid travel across sites. BPSS clearance at basic level is required.

The position involves updating and validating EC&I drawings and documentation, while maintaining strong quality and safety practices. Ideal candidates will have EC&I design and as-built experience, a related degree, and be working towards Chartered status.

Qualifications

• Experience designing EC&I systems, preferably in nuclear context.
• As-built surveys and drawings experience.
• Knowledge of design development and project requirements.
• Familiarity with safety, quality, and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EC&I activities to scope, quality, schedule and cost.
• Update drawings and documentation from detailed design to as-built status.
• Perform inspections and surveys of EC&I systems for compliance.
• Maintain records and configuration control per procedures.
• Ensure quality management and risk assessments are documented.
• Support staff/contractors with hazard awareness and communication.
