Job summary

UK Atomic Energy Authority is seeking a Principal Control & Instrumentation Engineer to lead the delivery of complex EC&I projects at Culham, Oxfordshire. You will set direction on design and operation, implement new standards, and mentor junior engineers, ensuring compliance with current legislation and codes of practice.

The role requires BPSS/ DBS checks and onsite work with hybrid options where possible.

Qualifications

• Good communication and influencing skills with the ability to work with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex EC&I projects from concept to delivery.
• Set direction and advise on design, installation, and operational strategies.
• Create and implement new technical standards, processes, and risk mitigation.
