Brandon James is recruiting a Principal Designer for CDM and Building Regulations in Greater London. You will lead and support a wide range of projects, combining architectural insight with CDM expertise.

The role requires a high level of regulatory knowledge, a track record in Principal Designer duties, and the ability to mentor an experienced team within a fast‑growing service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years' experience in Architectural or Building Control roles.
• Registered as RIBA/CIAT/APS Principal Designer for HRBs or Class 3 G/H RBI / Building Control Surveyor.
• Experience mitigating CDM and Building Regulations risks.

Responsibilities

Principal Designer for CDM and Building Regulations

A multidisciplinary consultancy with a fast-growing Principal Design service is offering the chance for a confident Architect or CDM Principal Designer to take on more responsibility. You will lead and support on a wide variety of project sectors, as you work with an experience team.

The Role

The successful Principal Designer for CDM and Building Regulation will mitigate design stage Health & Safety Risks, and support with the management of Gateway processes.

The Person

The Principal Design Director suitable for this role will have at least 15 years within an Architectural or Building Control Surveyor / RBI role.

The Principal Design Director suitable for this role will be registered as a RIBA, CIAT or APS Principal Designer for HRBs or a Class 3 G/H RBI / Building Control Surveyor.
