Job summary

Knightwood Associates is seeking a Principal Designer (Building Safety Act) in Central London. The role involves leading design risk management and ensuring regulatory compliance across projects, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

As a Chartered Architect (ARB registered), you will advise on CDM, design governance and information management to deliver compliant, safe schemes under the Building Safety Act for a varied client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Chartered Architect (ARB registered) with experience in Principal Designer duties under the Building Safety Act.
• Strong understanding of the Building Safety Act and wider regulatory environment.

This acclaimed National CDM & BSA consultancy is experiencing significant growth within their Building Safety and Design Compliance sector.
The result is an exciting opportunity for an Architect or Design Manager experienced in undertaking, supporting or advising on Principal Designer duties under the Building Safety Act to join their accomplished team.
As a Principal Designer, you will play a key role in ensuring design compliance and managing design risk throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with a varied portfolio of clients across RIBA Stages 2-6.
