Job summary

Sapien Engineering is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to lead machinery design for customer orders within a medical/pharma manufacturing context. You will own the design process from concept through manufacture and contribute to R&D and cost-saving initiatives.

The role provides a path toward long-term succession at C-Suite level within the group, with opportunities for leadership and strategic impact on critical projects.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of design engineering experience.
• Experience in machinery design and moving parts, pneumatics, electrical components.
• Ideally with ATEX/CE directive experience or similar.
• Full product lifecycle and project ownership experience.
• Proven leadership at principal level.

Responsibilities

My client is a design and manufacturing business, who are specialists in their respective marketplace serving medical and pharmaceutical clients. They look after product from concept to inception.

This role is one working in a specific department of the group, still full life cycle and with R&D engagement, but this role is primed for long term succession at C-Suite level and is business critical.
